What we did in Utah
First, let me apologize for the random order of my pictures, but this is what we did over the past week while in Utah...

The boys were able to smother and play with Grandma and Grandpa Bell's new puppy, Mollie.
Tried to take LOTS of pictures!!
Gave Colby and Emily some grumpy kids to take pictures with at their wedding reception!
The boys went out for Colby's last night of bachelorhood! No emergency room visits that night so that's a plus!!
Ryan and Daniel got a few days to play at the skate park

We hit up a jacuzzi and pool at my aunt and uncle's hotel.
We spent a night in Vegas at a fun hotel with a slide and shark tank.
We spent lots of fun times catching up with family and friends
We celebrated Derek's birthday!! Happy 28th little bro!!
We got to see good friends that have moved from California to Utah. We love and miss you Jess!
We attended Colby and Emily's beautiful reception and took advantage of the backdrops to take some family pictures

We got to attend Colby and Emily's sealing at the Bountiful temple (where Daniel and I were sealed). The temple grounds were so pretty and spring like that day!
We took time to enjoy the family being together again in the same state.
Cody and Hailey Palmer rekindled their long distance relationship

Life goes on...
We decided to join the many others in this country and try to grow our own produce. We planted everything possible that we could find and that we would eat. Cody loved getting the area prepped with Daniel, finding the Rollie-Polly bugs and worms, and helping dig the holes to plant. He was all over the place. It was good therapy for the whole family. We are anxious to see what actually pops up. Daniel and Cody water the garden every day and are constantly looking out the window to see if things are getting bigger. I keep reminding them it's going to take a few weeks.

Life can suck at times
We all find ways of coping. I am lucky to have this little guy who can always make me feel better.
Doing better tho.

Love to sit back and watch
Yesterday I went with Daniel and Cody to the skate park at Eldorado's park. We met up with Ryan and Porter and Skippy and Belen and Tyssen. It was fun to sit back and watch the older boys skate around and the younger kids ride their bikes.
Life was good and fun until the cops came and told the older boys they needed safety gear and the younger kids that there were no bikes allowed in the skate park...party poopers!!
Cody was pretty mad at the cops.

The Truth...between you and I!
So life as a firefighter is known to the public as heroic, dangerous, exhausting, exhilarating, emotional and so many other things. After Daniel went to Cody's school and did a little presentation for the kids, one of the teachers asked what they do at the station when they have "down time". He gave a list of duties that can be perfomed on "down time". I kind of sat back and laughed to myself because I know the truth!
Really what they do all day is play pranks on each other! The other morning Daniel came home with a black eyelid and I thought oh no, what happened...did he hit his eye on his locker or who knows, on the fridge door at the station (since he does a lot of cooking). Sad that I wouldn't think did a beam fall down during a fire and hit him or did a combative patient hit him on a medical call. Well, come to find out that he was taking a shower and some of the other guys he works with were planning to play a prank on him by shooting an air soft gun at the ceiling (it was suppose to be empty) and dump Koolaid powder on him to make him think he got shot. It's all fun and games until the air soft gun had a pellet in it and the pellet ricochet off the wall hitting him in the eye and when looking down saw the red koolaid, thought they shot him in the eye and coincidentally, the other guys forgot they put the koolaid in the shower so when Daniel came busting out of the shower saying he got shot in the eye they all thought he was bleeding. After a few seconds and a few whiffs of the koolaid they all realized that it hit him in the eyelid and he was not bleeding. Funny guys! One of the many pranks pulled at his station...but don't let him fool you, he was involved or has been the mastermind of many!!
