Ouch!

This is my recommendation to all who likes to bake themselves or use to back in high school in the sun...GO GET YOUR MOLES CHECKED!! I had a suspicious mole on my forearm that has been changing over the years. It was removed on Tuesday and they had to take out quite a bit of skin and left me with a lot of stitches. Cody took these pictures so they aren't the best quality.

This is me with my bandages...much prettier than what's underneath.

The day after the bandages came off. As you can tell by the way I look I've been on pain meds and am pretty sore.
Everyone take care of themselves so that you don't have to deal with stuff like this.

Summer Vaca.

I have been a bit over the blog thing but then I feel guilty whenever I look at others, so I am back. We've begun Summer activities and Cody's loving every minute of them.

A lot of human bowling

A visit from my Oregonian friend and late night smores in our backyard. I know we look lame and the beanies are a bit over the top for the season but those who know me know that I get cold easily.

We found a Black Widow in Cody's play area...called pest control immediately to come spray!

Cody and Daniel camped out in the backyard.

Daniel and Cody fishing at a near by pond...nothing biting.

Hope everyone else is having a fun Summer Vacation!

What we did in Utah

First, let me apologize for the random order of my pictures, but this is what we did over the past week while in Utah...

We took time to enjoy the family being together again in the same state.
Cody and Hailey Palmer rekindled their long distance relationship

The boys were able to smother and play with Grandma and Grandpa Bell's new puppy, Mollie.

Tried to take LOTS of pictures!!
Gave Colby and Emily some grumpy kids to take pictures with at their wedding reception!

The boys went out for Colby's last night of bachelorhood! No emergency room visits that night so that's a plus!!

Ryan and Daniel got a few days to play at the skate park

We hit up a jacuzzi and pool at my aunt and uncle's hotel.

We spent a night in Vegas at a fun hotel with a slide and shark tank.

We spent lots of fun times catching up with family and friends

We celebrated Derek's birthday!! Happy 28th little bro!!

We got to see good friends that have moved from California to Utah. We love and miss you Jess!
We attended Colby and Emily's beautiful reception and took advantage of the backdrops to take some family pictures

We got to attend Colby and Emily's sealing at the Bountiful temple (where Daniel and I were sealed). The temple grounds were so pretty and spring like that day!

We tried to get Cody to smile so we could take some pictures with all of the pretty tulips.

We were able to congratulate this fun couple after they came out of the temple. Both looked very happy all day and looking forward to a honeymoon in Jamaica!

We had a great time and did lots of other things. The trip was mostly for Colby and Emily's wedding which is crazy to think about now since all of the Bell kids are married!
It was great fun to be around the family!! It was great to see everyone again!!
Congrats Colby and Emily!!

Life goes on...

We decided to join the many others in this country and try to grow our own produce. We planted everything possible that we could find and that we would eat. Cody loved getting the area prepped with Daniel, finding the Rollie-Polly bugs and worms, and helping dig the holes to plant. He was all over the place. It was good therapy for the whole family. We are anxious to see what actually pops up. Daniel and Cody water the garden every day and are constantly looking out the window to see if things are getting bigger. I keep reminding them it's going to take a few weeks.

Here's Cody ready to start watering
the planting process

P.S. Thank you all for your comments and support in regards to my last post.
